The NEET UG 2026 Round 1 reporting process has commenced for candidates who have secured seats in the first phase of counselling. Students allotted seats in Round 1 can now report to their respective colleges and complete the required admission formalities.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is conducting NEET UG counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats. The counselling process also covers 100% seats in Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AIIMS institutions, and JIPMER Puducherry.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allocation must complete the reporting process within the specified deadline. The final date for reporting and joining is August 31, 2026.
Candidates should arrange all the necessary documents in advance to avoid any issues during the NEET UG Round 1 reporting and admission process.

Candidates should also bring the necessary category, PwD, domicile, or other supporting certificates, wherever applicable to their admission.
Students are advised to carefully review the MCC reporting guidelines and instructions provided by their allotted college before visiting the institute and completing the admission formalities.

According to the earlier counselling timetable, NEET UG 2026 Round 2 registration was scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026.
However, the Round 1 counselling timeline has now been revised, with the reporting and admission process continuing until August 31, 2026. As a result, the schedule for the second round is also likely to be revised.
The NEET UG 2026 Round 2 registration process is expected to begin during the first week of September. Candidates should wait for the official notification and updated schedule from MCC before making any arrangements.
After MCC releases the revised Round 2 timetable, candidates will be able to check the dates for registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and college reporting through the official website, mcc.nic.in.
Candidates who have received a seat in Round 1 should complete all admission and reporting requirements within the prescribed deadline. Students planning to participate in Round 2 should regularly check the MCC counselling portal for the latest announcements and schedule updates.
