NEET UG 2026: MCC Releases Revised Round 1 Seat Allotment; Final Result Soon

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Revised Provisional Seat Allotment Result for NEET UG 2026 Round 1 on August 21, 2026. According to the official notification, seats have been provisionally allotted to 29,945 candidates in this round.

Candidates who successfully submitted and locked their preferred colleges and courses can now access their provisional seat allotment letters through the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. Students need to use their NEET UG roll number and password to download the allotment document.

Candidates who wish to raise objections or report any discrepancy in the provisional allotment can submit their grievances until 8:00 AM on August 22, 2026. The final merit list and seat allotment details are expected to be published shortly after the grievance process.

It is important to note that the current seat allocation is provisional and does not constitute a final admission. The allotted seat will be confirmed only after the required documents are verified and the respective college approves the admission.

How to Check the NEET UG 2026 Revised Provisional Seat Allotment Result

Checking your result takes only a few minutes. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Go to the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, and click on "NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026" under the "Candidate Activity" board.

  2. Enter your NEET UG roll number and password, then click "Submit."

  3. Open the Round 1 revised provisional seat allotment section inside your login window.

  4. Your seat allotment letter will appear on the screen.

  5. Download it and save a copy. You'll need it later.

The revised NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result is available on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates can locate the result link under either the “Candidate Activity” section or the “Current Events” section of the portal.

What Happens After NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment?

Candidates who have received a seat in Round 1 must complete the reporting and admission process at their allotted institution. The reporting period is scheduled from August 22 to August 31, 2026. During this period, candidates need to visit the allotted college, submit the required documents, and complete the necessary admission formalities.

After candidates report to their respective institutions, the colleges will verify and submit the details of joined candidates on September 1, 2026. Academic classes are expected to commence thereafter.

Candidates should not wait until the last date to complete reporting. Missing the prescribed reporting period may result in the loss of the allotted seat.

Documents Required for NEET UG 2026 College Reporting

Candidates should carry the original documents along with the required number of photocopies when reporting to the allotted college. The commonly required documents include:

  • NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard

  • Revised provisional seat allotment letter downloaded from the MCC or relevant counselling website

  • Class 10 certificate and mark sheet as proof of date of birth

  • Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate

  • Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport

  • Around 8 to 10 recent passport-size photographs, preferably matching the photograph used in the NEET application

  • Valid category certificate for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, or EWS candidates, wherever applicable

  • PwD or other applicable special-category certificate issued by the authorised authority

  • Domicile certificate, where required for admission under a state quota

  • Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate

  • Migration Certificate, if applicable

  • Character Certificate from the last educational institution attended

  • Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format

  • Gap-year affidavit or certificate, if applicable

  • Counselling registration proof and fee payment receipt
