The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a month-long, face-to-face academic support programme for students studying in Classes 10 and 12 at government schools across Ladakh.
According to CBSE, the initiative is being conducted at 10 locations in the Union Territory of Ladakh to provide students with additional academic assistance, strengthen their understanding of subjects and help them prepare for the upcoming CBSE Board Examinations.
The programme is being conducted at centres in Leh, Nubra (two centres), Shams, Zanskar, Kargil, Drass, Changthang, Sankoo and Chiktan.
The initiative has been introduced to provide extra academic support to Class 10 and 12 students as they prepare for their board examinations.
The programme focuses on subject-wise learning, exam preparation strategies and important skills that can help students perform better in the CBSE board exams.
For Class 10 students, the programme covers subjects including:
Mathematics
Science
Students of Class 12 are receiving academic support in:
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
Economics
The month-long programme is intended to help students strengthen their subject knowledge and approach their upcoming board examinations with better preparation.
The initiative is designed to provide students with additional guidance across various areas of board exam preparation, including:

According to CBSE, the programme will help students strengthen their understanding of key concepts and follow a more organised approach to their studies ahead of the board examinations.
CBSE has selected experienced teachers and resource persons from various CBSE-affiliated schools across India to conduct the academic support sessions.
These educators will guide students with subject preparation, examination strategies and other essential skills required to perform effectively in the board examinations.
The month-long programme is expected to provide valuable academic assistance to students studying in government schools, particularly those living in the remote and far-flung areas of Ladakh. It will help Class 10 and 12 students strengthen their preparation and approach the upcoming board examinations with greater confidence.
