The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule for submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) for students appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027. The LOC submission process for the 2026-27 academic session will be conducted online by affiliated schools.
Only students whose details are successfully submitted through the LOC process will be considered eligible to appear for the respective CBSE Board Examinations 2027.
Before submitting the LOC, schools must complete the required candidate registration process. Schools can log in using their CBSE affiliation number as the user ID. CBSE has already provided the required password and instructions to affiliated institutions.
Newly affiliated schools that have not yet received their login credentials can contact the concerned CBSE Regional Office. After receiving the password, schools should reset it and keep the updated credentials secure.
CBSE has advised schools to thoroughly verify all information before submitting the LOC. Schools should ensure that:
Student details are complete and accurate.
The appropriate subject codes have been selected.
Examination fees are paid within the prescribed deadline.
The complete LOC data is carefully checked before final submission.
CBSE has particularly highlighted the importance of selecting the correct subject codes, as incorrect subject information may create difficulties during the examination process.
Under the two-board-examination system, the first Class 10 Board Examination will be conducted in February/March 2027 and will be mandatory for all students.
Schools have been instructed to submit the LOC for all students appearing in the first Class 10 Board Examination.
The LOC submission for the second Class 10 Board Examination will be carried out separately after the completion of the first examination.
Schools should carefully verify the subject codes while entering Class 10 and Class 12 student details.
