The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the timeline for post-result facilities available to students who appeared for the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. Students who are dissatisfied with their marks can request a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book, apply for marks verification, or seek re-evaluation.
The application window for obtaining a scanned copy of the evaluated answer book will remain open from August 31 to September 1, 2026. The application fee is Rs 100 per subject.
Students who wish to request verification of marks or re-evaluation can submit their applications on September 7 and 8, 2026. The verification fee is Rs 100 per answer book, while the re-evaluation fee is Rs 100 per question.
CBSE has made it clear that students must first apply for and receive the scanned copy of their answer book before proceeding with marks verification or re-evaluation. The entire process will be conducted online, and applications submitted after the specified deadlines will not be accepted.

After receiving the scanned answer book, students should carefully review three important aspects. First, confirm that the examiner has evaluated every attempted question. Next, check whether the marks awarded for each answer have been entered correctly. Finally, verify that the total marks have been added accurately.
The re-evaluation facility is available only for the theory portion of the examination. Students must submit a request for an entire question, rather than challenging only a particular part of it. They also need to mention a proper reason for requesting re-evaluation with reference to the prescribed marking scheme.
CBSE has cautioned students that their marks can either increase or decrease after verification or re-evaluation. Even a change of one mark can affect the final result. The decision issued after re-evaluation will be treated as final, and no further appeal against it will be entertained.
The CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Result 2026 was announced on August 12, 2026. Among students appearing under the compartment category, the pass percentage stood at 53.08%, showing an improvement from 38.36% recorded last year.
For comparison, the overall pass percentage in the regular CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 was 85.20%.
