CBSE Board Exams 2027: Registration and LOC Process Explained in Webinar

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a live webinar to explain the registration and List of Candidates (LOC) procedures for the CBSE Board Examinations 2027. The session was aimed at helping schools, students and parents understand important examination-related requirements and processes.

The webinar, titled “Relevance of Registration & LOC”, was organised at the CBSE Integrated Office in Dwarka, New Delhi. It was conducted in connection with the Board's circulars concerning LOC submission for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2027, along with the correction of students' demographic information.

CBSE Board Exams 2027: Registration and LOC Details

During the webinar, CBSE officials highlighted the importance of entering correct and complete student information while submitting registration and LOC data.

Schools are expected to carefully verify student details and rectify discrepancies within the prescribed timeline. Accurate information at this stage can help prevent difficulties during subsequent examination-related processes.

CBSE has already begun the LOC process for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027. Registration for students of Classes 9 and 11 is also scheduled as part of the Board's registration process.

The registration and LOC procedures will cover students studying in more than 32,000 CBSE-affiliated schools across India and 26 other countries.

CBSE Webinar 2027: Key Issues Discussed

The webinar also included a live question-and-answer session, during which CBSE officials responded to questions raised by school principals and teachers.

Several aspects of the examination process were discussed, including:

  • Correction of student information
  • Selection and change of subjects
  • LOC data entry, submission and verification
  • Registration of Class 9 and Class 11 students
  • Examination fee-related provisions
  • Other examination procedures and requirements

The Controller of Examinations also delivered a presentation covering important points related to student registration and LOC submission.

CBSE Asks Schools to Check Student Information Carefully

CBSE emphasised that schools should submit accurate student details within the prescribed timelines. Particular attention should be given to student information and subject combinations while preparing and submitting LOC data.

The Board also highlighted the applicable fee-related provisions and reminded schools to follow the prescribed requirements.

Special attention was also drawn to the procedures and guidelines applicable to the registration and examination of Children With Special Needs (CWSN).

CBSE has advised schools to carefully follow the latest official instructions and guidelines while submitting registration and LOC information for the 2027 Board Examinations.
