CBSE Class 10 and 12 LOC 2027: Key Details

For Class 10, the LOC submission relates to the first board examination scheduled for February–March 2027. CBSE will have a separate LOC submission process for the second examination.

The Board has clearly stated that only students whose details are included through the online LOC process will be permitted to appear for the respective Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027.

Information Required for LOC Submission

Schools need to enter and verify several details of each candidate during the LOC process. These include:

  • Student's full name

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

  • Category details

  • Parent or guardian's name

  • Subjects selected for the examination

  • Student's photograph

  • Student's signature

Schools should cross-check these details with official school records before submitting the LOC to avoid discrepancies in the examination records.

For Class 12 candidates, CBSE has also specified the applicable qualifying-examination requirements for students who completed Class 10 from a recognised educational board.
