KCET 2026 Round 3 Counselling: Key Guidelines for Candidates with Allotted Seats

As KCET 2026 Round 3 is the final counselling round, KEA has issued certain instructions that candidates receiving seats must follow. Candidates are required to complete all admission-related formalities within the prescribed deadlines.

The following steps should be completed on time:

• Pay the applicable course fee by September 10, 2026.

• After completing the fee payment, download and preserve the seat allocation receipt.

• Visit the allotted college with all the required original documents by September 11, 2026.

• Complete the remaining admission formalities to secure the allotted seat.

Candidates should carefully follow the given schedule and ensure that they carry all necessary documents while reporting to the allotted institution.

KEA Warns Candidates Against Seat Blocking

KEA has clarified that candidates who confirm their seats in the final round of KCET 2026 counselling are required to proceed with the admission process. Once the Round 3 allotment has been made, seat cancellation or modification will not be allowed.

Candidates who retain a seat without completing the admission process may face penalties from KEA. Failure to report to the allotted college within the prescribed deadline may also be treated as a violation of the counselling rules.

These measures have been introduced by KEA to prevent unnecessary seat blocking and ensure that available seats are utilised effectively.
