MHT CET CAP 2026: Round 3 Seat Allotment Out, Know the Next Admission Steps

The MHT CET CAP 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result has been released by the Maharashtra State CET Cell for admission to engineering programmes. Through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), a total of 1,16,690 candidates have received allotments for BE/BTech courses across colleges in Maharashtra.

In Round 3, 11,505 candidates have secured an engineering seat for the first time, while around 1,05,185 candidates have received seats through the betterment option.

MHT CET CAP Round 3 Allotment: 9,766 Candidates Receive Top 6 Preferences

A total of 9,766 candidates have been allotted seats according to one of their first six preferences.

As per the CAP admission rules, seats allotted within the first six choices are automatically frozen. Candidates who accept an allotment from their top six preferences will not be eligible to participate in subsequent CAP rounds.

Candidates who receive a seat beyond their first six preferences can decide whether to retain the allotted seat or choose the betterment option to seek an improvement in the next round.

Candidates who have received a seat allotment in MHT CET CAP Round 3 must complete the required acceptance and admission formalities within the specified timeline.
