The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the KCET 2026 provisional additional seat matrix for candidates under special categories. Candidates can access the 2026 seat matrix through the official KEA website.
As per the latest seat matrix, a total of 23 additional seats have been introduced under the PH and Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) categories. These extra seats are available across selected engineering and other participating institutes.
Among the participating colleges, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has received the highest number of additional seats. Eligible candidates can check the college-wise and course-wise distribution of seats by referring to the official seat matrix PDF.

Candidates can access and download the official KCET 2026 additional seat matrix PDF through the KEA counselling portal.
According to the latest seat matrix, 23 additional seats have been introduced under the special categories. Of these, 12 seats are allocated under PH, while 11 seats are available under SNQ.

Candidates who have registered under the relevant special categories can refer to the seat matrix to check the availability of seats at individual institutions.
The KCET 2026 Round 2 counselling process is currently being conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The authority released the Round 2 mock seat allotment result on August 17, 2026.
Candidates were given the opportunity to modify their preferences by adding, deleting, or changing choices until 9 AM on August 20, 2026.
The additional seat matrix can help eligible PH and SNQ candidates assess seat availability before finalising their preferred colleges and courses.
After the option modification window closes, KEA will proceed with the Round 2 seat allotment process. Candidates should regularly check the official KEA counselling portal for updates regarding the KCET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result.
