The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the COMEDK UGET 2026 Round 4 counselling schedule for engineering admissions. The final counselling round will begin with the choice filling and modification process on August 26, 2026, at 4 PM.
Eligible candidates will be able to add, remove, or modify their preferred colleges and engineering branches during the choice-filling window. The seat allotment will be conducted after the choice submission period concludes.
According to the schedule issued by COMEDK, candidates can make changes to their preferences until 4 PM on August 28, 2026. The Round 4 seat allotment result and subsequent decision-making process are scheduled to commence from September 1, 2026.
COMEDK Round 4 is the final counselling phase under the General Merit (GM) category. Candidates who did not receive a seat during Rounds 1, 2, or 3 can participate in this round.
Students with Accept & Upgrade or Reject & Upgrade status may also be eligible for Round 4, subject to the applicable counselling rules.
Candidates with Reject & Upgrade status who do not wish to continue in the final round can withdraw from the counselling process within the prescribed timeline. Those who receive a seat through Round 4 will be required to accept the allotted seat and complete the necessary admission formalities.

Candidates should carefully select their preferred colleges and engineering branches during COMEDK Round 4, as seats allotted in this final round cannot be cancelled after allotment.
COMEDK has clarified that candidates who receive seats under the upgrade categories are required to report to and join the allotted institute. If a candidate fails to join the assigned college, the applicable counselling fee and other penalties may be imposed as per the prescribed rules.
The Round 4 seat allotment will be prepared based on the candidate’s rank, choices submitted during counselling, and availability of seats in the participating institutes.
