FAQ
When is Prime Day?
Amazon has two Prime Day events: one in the summer and one in October. This year, October Prime Day will be a two-day event held from Tuesday, Oct. 6, through the end of Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Best Buy’s competing TechTober sale runs through Sunday, October 11.
How did we choose these deals?
For this list, I only chose TVs from reputable brands and that have been lab-tested by me or another ZDNET expert. I also did my best to only include deals with markdowns of at least 20 percent to help you find the best value for your budget.
Are OLED TVs cheaper during Prime Day?
They can be! Both the July and October Prime Day sale events are great opportunities to snag steep discounts on flagship OLED models from top brands like LG and Samsung. Even if Amazon’s discounts aren’t as exciting as you had hoped, other retailers like Best Buy and Walmart often run competing sales so you can shop around to find the best deals.
Are these TV deals only available at Best Buy, or also on Amazon?
These TV deals are currently only available at Best Buy, but I’ll be tracking Amazon deals as well as the Prime Big Deal Days sale officially starts.
