Seismic Drum Records from the 1991 Eruption of Mount Pinatubo, Philippines: April 30 – June 17, 1991 Seismic Drum Records from the 1991 Eruption of Mount Pinatubo, Philippines: April 30 – June 17, 1991

Data set consists of scanned seismic drum records recorded at Mount Pinatubo between April 30 and June 17, 1991. The archive contains 145 drum records that recorded seismicity associated with the 1991 eruptions. These drum records are the only continuous seismic records produced from a local network of seismic stations. The images of the drum records are in JPG format.

High-resolution mapping survey data of nutrients and related water quality constituents in the San Francisco Bay Delta, Lake Oroville, and San Luis Reservoir at the landscape scale: 2015-2022 High-resolution mapping survey data of nutrients and related water quality constituents in the San Francisco Bay Delta, Lake Oroville, and San Luis Reservoir at the landscape scale: 2015-2022

Broad-area, high-resolution, boat-based water quality mapping surveys of the San Francisco Bay, the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta (Delta), Lake Oroville, and San Luis Reservoir were conducted at various times between April 2015 and April 2022. Each survey was conducted over the course of a single day. The region covered included the east-west axis of the San Francisco Bay Delta from the...

Polychlorinated biphenyls and per-and-poly-fluoroalkyl substances, elemental metal concentrations, percent organic carbon and fines, and microbial communities from sediment samples collected in best management practice (BMP) wet ponds in four Maryland cou Polychlorinated biphenyls and per-and-poly-fluoroalkyl substances, elemental metal concentrations, percent organic carbon and fines, and microbial communities from sediment samples collected in best management practice (BMP) wet ponds in four Maryland cou

This metadata record contains 5 tables of sediment concentration data used to assess correlations of land use with detections and concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls, per-and- poly-fluoroalkyl substances, elemental metal composition, percent organic carbon and fines. Microbial communities were measured in each sample to identify the presence of dechlorinating microorganisms in...

40Ar/39Ar geochronology of supergene manganese oxides in the southern and central Appalachian Mountains 40Ar/39Ar geochronology of supergene manganese oxides in the southern and central Appalachian Mountains

This data release contains 40Ar/39Ar isotopic data for manganese oxides collected in the southern and central Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Furnace- and laser-heated analyses of cryptomelane separates from 84 samples are included, along with sample site location data.

High spatial resolution water quality data using the Fast Limnological Automated Measurements sensor platform in the Upper Mississippi River Basin pools 10-24 in 2024-2025 High spatial resolution water quality data using the Fast Limnological Automated Measurements sensor platform in the Upper Mississippi River Basin pools 10-24 in 2024-2025

In support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Long Term Resource Monitoring Mississippi River program, water quality data were collected in 2024 and 2025 in the Upper Mississippi River Basin. Data were collected in 2024 to document spatial heterogeneity in water quality across seasons and hydrologic conditions with a focus on understanding patterns in chlorophyll. Additional data were...

Total Radon-222 Activity in Submarine Groundwater Collected Along the West Florida Shelf and Offshore Nature Coast, Indian Rocks Beach, and Venice Headland, Florida, USA, Between November 2022 and March 2024 Total Radon-222 Activity in Submarine Groundwater Collected Along the West Florida Shelf and Offshore Nature Coast, Indian Rocks Beach, and Venice Headland, Florida, USA, Between November 2022 and March 2024

Scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC) led six sampling events between November 2022 and March 2024 in support of a collaborative research project investigating coastal boundary fluxes of dissolved analyte loads to the West Florida Shelf (National Science Foundation Grant Award OCE-2148989, Project 880516). During each...

High spatial resolution sensor-based surface water quality data along the Lake Winnebago-Fox River-Green Bay continuum in 2023-2025 High spatial resolution sensor-based surface water quality data along the Lake Winnebago-Fox River-Green Bay continuum in 2023-2025

In support of multiple Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) projects focusing on Green Bay and upland sources, surface water quality metrics related to primary producers, nutrients, and conductivity were measured using a boat-mounted, continuous sampling platform. These data are used to document changes in water quality as water flows from Lake Winnebago through the lower Fox River...

Tok Alaska electromagnetic and magnetic airborne geophysical survey 2014: inverted resistivity models Tok Alaska electromagnetic and magnetic airborne geophysical survey 2014: inverted resistivity models

This data release is an inversion an airborne geophysical data survey collected from July to November 2014 for the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources by CGG Dighem Survey. The inversion of the electromagnetic data to provide electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility models as a function of depth was carried in 2017 using EM1DFM program from University of British...

Source code for determining the optimal set of spatio-temporal features for predicting burn probability in the state of California, USA Source code for determining the optimal set of spatio-temporal features for predicting burn probability in the state of California, USA

Wildfires play a critical role in determining ecosystem structure and function and pose serious risks to human life, property and ecosystem services. Burn probability (BP) models the likelihood that a location could burn. Simulation models are typically used to predict BP but are computationally intensive. Machine learning (ML) pipelines can predict BP and reduce computational intensity...

FLOwPER Database: StreamFLOw PERmanence field observations derived from Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) Water Report, May 2012 - September 2024 FLOwPER Database: StreamFLOw PERmanence field observations derived from Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) Water Report, May 2012 - September 2024

IMPORTANT NOTE: This dataset includes spatial locations where streamflow permanence observations (continuous flow and dry) were recorded and stored as part of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) water report (https://pctwater.com/) and subsequently processed to align with the FLOwPER (FLOw PERmanence) field survey available in Survey 123. Additional information to describe the field conditions...
