Trade Union Forum 2026: Commission cannot ignore workers’ realities
Today, shop stewards, workplace representatives, trade unionists and progressive policy makers are gathering in the European Parliament for the 2026 Trade Union Forum. Their main demand to the European Commission: turn the Quality Jobs Act into binding legislation that delivers quality jobs for millions of workers, not another voluntary framework that companies can ignore.

EU’s ambitions need a budget to match. For the 2028–2034 EU budget, known as the Multiannual Financial Framework, we need new genuine own resources to be able to deliver. This is the only way out of the impossible dilemma lower spendings or more cuts.
