About OurCloudNetwork

OurCloudNetwork is a UK-based technical publication dedicated to helping IT administrators and engineers navigate, manage, and automate Microsoft cloud technologies. The core purpose of this site is to share practical, real-world knowledge so that IT professionals can work smarter, not harder.

The publication is owned and operated by me, Daniel Bradley, based in the United Kingdom. I serve as the sole writer, editor, and publisher for all articles on this site. Everything you read here comes directly from my own hands-on experience in the field.

Meet the author

I’m Daniel, and I work full-time as a technical architect specialising in Microsoft Entra, Intune, and Microsoft Graph. I’ve been doing this for years now, and I still genuinely love working with these technologies every day.

Since July 2023, I’ve been a Microsoft MVP in Security, which honestly still feels a bit surreal. It’s brilliant recognition, but more importantly, it means I get to work even more closely with Microsoft and the community.

In 2024, I also published “Microsoft Graph PowerShell for Administrators.” Writing a book wasn’t something I’d planned, but I kept seeing administrators struggling with Graph PowerShell when it could genuinely make their lives easier. The book covers everything from the basics through to proper automation patterns that actually work in the real world.

How This All Started

Back in 2020, I started writing blog posts pretty much by accident. I was helping mates study for Microsoft exams and thought it might be useful to share what I’d learnt online. Turns out, quite a few people found it helpful.

What began as exam prep content has grown into something much bigger.

What You'll Find Here

OurCloudNetwork covers a specific set of technical subjects that I am genuinely passionate about. The core topics include:

  • Microsoft Entra: Identity and access management.

  • Microsoft Intune: Endpoint and device management.

  • Microsoft Graph PowerShell: Scripting and automation.

  • Microsoft 365 Security: Conditional access policies and secure configurations.

Everything here is authentic. I don’t use AI to blindly write content or come up with ideas (although it does support me in other ways) because you can tell when someone hasn’t actually done the work themselves. When I write about configuring policies or automating management, it’s because I’ve done it in real environments and probably made a few mistakes along the way.

Editorial & Funding Transparency

To keep this site running and free for the community, OurCloudNetwork is funded through a combination of advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate relationships.

  • Sponsorships: I’m pretty upfront about sponsored content. If someone is paying me to write about their product, you’ll know about it straight away with a clear disclaimer at the top of the article.

  • Affiliate Links: Some links to products or services may earn the site a small commission at no extra cost to you.

  • Advertising: The site may display contextual advertisements.

But here’s the most important thing: I will only ever give you my honest opinion, whether a sponsor likes it or not. My reputation matters more than any sponsorship deal or affiliate commission.

Let's Connect

I’m pretty active on LinkedIn and Twitter if you fancy a chat about Microsoft tech, or just want to say hello. I try to respond to messages when I can, though I’ll admit I’m better at technical questions than small talk!

The Microsoft community has given me so much over the years, so if I can help you solve a problem or learn something new, that’s what it’s all about really.
