Virtual Refactoring Hackathon I: Mar 13-17, 2026

During the hackathon we will primarily focus on work related to the data refactoring project. This is the first of, what is hoped to be four, quarterly hackathons dedicated to this project.

Dates were selected based on the results of a Doodle Poll.

• The first day, Friday, March 13, will be a meeting a planning day.
• Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17 will be dedicated to work, with no daily meetins planned.
• Communication can be done through the SasView slack channel (#code-camp), or through the usual zoom link.
• All work should be based of the refactoring branches in sasdata and sasview

• An initial planning meeting was held on February 6, 2026, at 9 am EST/2 pm GMT/3 pm CET via zoom. During the meeting, we discussed the current status of the project, the most pressing needs for the project, and started to devise work packages people can tackle during the hackathon.
