- **comment only** Nice article. I guess its your first time here. Welcome. I think this is going to be fine, its has the right feel, size and refs. The issue is the hook. Millions look at the main page and very few will be there to read about horsey writers - why would they click on yours? Have a look at the other hooks. Your hook might start "Did You Know that Colorado's Own Horse Expert ..(fill this space with something intriguing)..? Good luck. Victuallers (talk) 07:53, 19 August 2026 (UTC)

- @Amber1947: I was going to review this one, but I noticed something. The article creator, Amber1947, has only ever edited this article. The article subject, Cherry Hill, was born in 1947. Two major issues block approval of this nomination. First, the hook fails WP:DYKINT per Victuallers' comments. Second, the page creator has a potential conflict of interest, either as the subject of the article per GRuban's question, or as the photographer of the subject per my question on the creator's talk page. This results in a defect of neutral point of view. The page creator has not responded to multiple questions about potential COI or to Victuallers' request for a new hook, and indeed has not edited Wikipedia at all since creating this nomination more than two months ago. With WP:DYKTIMEOUT now reached and insufficient time remaining for the issues to be resolved, I am marking this for closure. Dclemens1971 (talk) 12:05, 13 October 2026 (UTC)
