Four Phases of Training

Personal practice, understanding, and teaching experience develop together throughout the training. Each phase gives you an opportunity to bring what you are learning into your own life before sharing it with others.

1

Bringing Five Element Consciousness to Life

Your own practice and experience become the foundation of your teaching. Live online sessions bring together Qigong practice, Chinese medicine principles, and everyday application.

  • Develop your practice of the ten Wu Ming Qigong movements that are the cornerstone of Dragon’s Way Qigong.
  • Apply Five Element Consciousness to understand the body’s physical and emotional signals.
  • Explore the relationship between emotions and healthy Liver function.
  • Study the healing essence of foods and the role of herbs within the program.
  • Refine Qigong movements with personal feedback.
2

In-Person Retreat with Grand Master Nan Lu

Four days in the Catskill Mountains bring your practice, understanding, and teaching experience together.

  • Refine your Qigong practice under Master Lu’s guidance.
  • Develop your teaching skills through group discussions and teaching exercises.
  • Experience Eating-for-Healing through guided cooking.
  • Receive Master Lu’s assessment of your energy and readiness for certification.
  • Receive guidance on your next steps.
  • Attendance is required. Room and board are included in tuition.
3

Confidence and Skill Development

Practice teaching with fellow trainees as you develop confidence in sharing the Dragon’s Way Qigong system.

  • Practice teaching the Qigong movements and explaining the program’s principles.
  • Learn to communicate from your own experience and understanding.
  • Explore how to respond to common student questions.
  • Receive constructive feedback from experienced instructors and your peers.
  • Continue refining your practice with online guidance and group support.
4

Lead Your Pilot Program

Bring your learning into practice by guiding your first Dragon’s Way Qigong program.

  • Organize and promote your program using the materials provided.
  • Practice guiding students through Qigong, Eating-for-Healing, and Chinese medicine principles.
  • Develop confidence in answering questions and supporting students.
  • Receive ongoing guidance from experienced instructors and share observations with your training group.

Materials for your first pilot program are included with tuition.

Certification depends on successful completion of all four training phases and Grand Master Nan Lu’s assessment of your readiness to carry the essence of Dragon’s Way Qigong.
