Easy iNav OSD Switcher Tool
This iNav OSD switcher tool allows you to easily switch your OSD layouts around in iNav. This is easy to use and saves time. But, I’d always recommend taking a backup of your settings.
OSD Switching
First select the From and To layouts from the drop down boxes. Then choose the operation that you want to perform:
- Copy duplicates the From OSD layout to the To OSD layout
- Swap switches the From OSD layout with the To OSD layout
- Add duplicates the From OSD layout to the To OSD layout. But, keeps the elements already on the To OSD layout. Any elements on both layouts will have the positions of the From OSD layout
- Move replaces the To OSD with the From OSD. Then the From OSD is made blank.
Finally, go to iNav Configurator and get the OSD layout information from the CLI. To get this you can either type diff, dump, or osd_layout and press the Enter key. Once the text has finished appearing in the CLI window, click the Copy to clipboard button. Paste the code in to the OSD Code box on this page. Then press the Update OSD button.
Clearing the OSD
A new feature to clear the OSD elements is on this page. This will hide all the OSD elements on all OSD layouts. If you provide a dump, the current positions will be retained. If there is no dump; all elements are reset to the top left of the screen. The best option is to add the dump to the OSD Code area, and click the Clear All OSDs button.
Seeing the results
The iNav OSD switcher tool will generate the new OSD code. You can copy this by clicking the Copy OSD to clipboard button. Paste that code in the iNav Configurator CLI and press Enter. Your OSD changes will now be set. If there is a problem. The original CLI code will still be in the OSD Code box on this page.
