Shout! Ending ‘Physical Forever Club’ Online Shop Perks Program

Shout! Studios is ending its “Physical Forever Club” online store membership program. Initiated late last year, the program offered perks for purchasing Blu-rays and DVDs at ShoutFactory.com online store.
The free membership program gave store credit amounting to 3% of purchase totals (excluding shipping and handling fees) that could be used for future purchases within 180 days.
According to the email, the online store has stopped issuing new credits, and asks members to use any remaining credits by the end of October.
“After Nov. 3, we’ll be transitioning to a new way of issuing store credit,” the email states. “Any unused balance from your account will be reissued under this updated system.”
According to the email, existing member credits will not disappear, but the new store credit will follow different redemption rules, with more details to come after November.
“We recommend using your current credits as soon as possible for the best experience,” the email states.
Similar perks programs by Sony Pictures and Universal Pictures were discontinued in 2024.
Shout! Studios in July merged with FilmRise to form a new company, Radial Entertainment, under the ownership of Oaktree Capital Management.
