Hello LinkedIn! 👋 We're excited to launch the official page of Hemodynamix, a university spin-off project at Justus Liebig University Giessen. Every day, hospitals record cardiac pressure waveforms during routine procedures. These signals hold far more physiological information than is currently used. Accessing it usually requires specialized catheters that are costly, complex and rarely available. That's where we come in: we develop algorithms and software that extract meaningful hemodynamic insights from routinely recorded pressure data, without additional catheters or workload. A few milestones so far: 🏆 First place at the Hessen Ideen Competition 2026 - https://lnkd.in/eYQHipv2 📄 Our approach has been published in the Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation - https://lnkd.in/ecmgSKis 💻 Our Online Single-Beat Analyzer is freely available for researchers: hemodynamix.de We're currently preparing to found our company, and we'd love for you to follow along as we take the next steps. If you work with hemodynamic data in research or clinical settings, we'd be glad to connect and hear about your experiences. Follow our page for updates on our research, software and startup journey! #Hemodynamics #Cardiology #PulmonaryHypertension #PVLoop #MedTech #DigitalHealth #Startup #SpinOff

What if an endoscope could be flexible when navigating and rigid when treating? 🩺 That’s the idea behind Dexterous Endoscopes (hiring!), one of the startups joining the Venture Leaders Medtech 2026 roadshow to Boston this October. Led by Co-Founder & CEO Yegor Piskarev, Dexterous Endoscopes is developing a single-use endoscope platform that can switch on command between fully flexible and fully rigid states during a procedure. By combining flexibility and mechanical strength in one device, the technology aims to help surgeons navigate complex anatomy while maintaining the control needed for treatment. In October, Yegor will join the Swiss National Medtech Team in Boston to connect with investors, industry leaders, and potential partners. 🔗 Read the full interview and discover Dexterous Endoscopes’ journey: https://lnkd.in/ePPDtErf The Venture Leaders Medtech program is organized by Venturelab and supported by EPFL, ETH Zürich, Hansjörg Wyss, Health Innovation Hub Aargau, Kellerhals Carrard, TIE Partners, Etat de Vaud, and VISCHER. #VentureLeaders #VLeadersMedtech #SwissStartups

2,100+ startups. All 50 states. 14 made the list. Vivifi Medical is one of them. Pepperdine Graziadio Business School named Vivifi Medical to its 2026 Pepperdine Most Fundable Companies List®, and we're profiled in Entrepreneur Magazine!! What does it take to stand out from 2,100+ startups? Going in, we expected the pitch to decide it. It didn't. Long before pitch night, every company went through one of the most rigorous diligence processes we have been through: market, IP, financials, team, all of it. And Vivifi came out on top. This year's list spans energy, AI, consumer, and more, so the recognition came from people well outside medtech. That tells us the problem we're solving resonates far beyond our industry. BPH affects most men as they age, and in over 100 years there hasn't been a fundamentally new way to treat it. Vivifi is building the first treatment* that goes after the root cause, not just the symptoms. Also, congratulations to fellow MedTech Innovator 2026 cohort company AcQumen Medical (Dori Jones), also named to the list. Two MTI companies out of 14 says something about this cohort. Thank you to Daniel Root, MD for representing Vivifi at the showcase in Malibu, and to Jon Shapiro, Craig Everett, PhD, Amy Wood, and the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School team, and the Singleton Foundation for Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship.
