Now start reading "Pilgrim at Tinker Creek" by Annie Dillard. This is a beautiful nature writing book that captures the wonder and spirituality of the natural world, particularly during the springtime. Just in time ;)

It's hauntingly well-written, but quite depressing. Vietnam did not have a good century.

Honestly, the "depressing" characterization from many people I've asked has always held me back from reading it. But for some reason, it always seemed like this work was necessary to read...

Strange Pictures by Uketsu. Pretty decent so far. Short read overall, but been busy with life/budget, so haven't finished it quite yet, shouldn't be much longer!

was digging through a storage tub full of books a half hour ago tonight. found my paperback copy of Clive Barker's Weaveworld.

kind of thinking about re-reading it during this month for the heck of it.

also dug out the paperback Star Wars From a Certain Point of View short story book. might re-read that for like the 2nd or 3rd time
