↑ Toy Story 5, after grossing $1.1 billion in theaters over the summer, made its streaming bow and topped all movies and TV shows as it premiered on Disney+. In the first Nielsen snapshot of the Skydance era three shows (The Big Bang Theory, Lioness and Spongebob Squarepants) are part of the combined Warner Bros. and Paramount empire.
↑ CBS’ 60 Minutes had its best outing of the season so far, drawing 10.2 million viewers for the Oct. 4 edition. The episode featured an AI segment titled “WHO NEEDS HUMANS?” as well as an interviews with Senator Thom Tillis and a feature on using “21st century technologies to restore the 13th century basilica.” Not coincidentally, CBS also had a huge NFL audience (28.45 million) leading into the show.
