Recycling Centres

Dundee City Council currently operates the following three Recycling Centres (formerly known as "Civic Amenity Sites") within the city.

• Baldovie Recycling Centre, Piper Street, Dundee, DD4 0NT  Map
• Marchbanks Recycling Centre, Harefield Road, Dundee, DD2 3JX  Map
• Riverside Recycling Centre, Wright Avenue, Dundee, DD2 1QH  Map

All three sites provide residents of Dundee with the opportunity to recycle a range of household waste free of charge.

Traders wishing to use any site for disposal of commercial waste must purchase a disposal ticket before visiting the site. Disposal tickets can be purchased from the Waste Management Department offices at Marchbanks Depot, 34 Harefield Road, Dundee,(Map) Tel: 01382 432777.

To make it easier for householders to recycle as much as possible, seperate containers are provided at each of the sites for specific waste types, as well as skips for general and bulky waste.  Householders and businesses are encouraged to segregate their waste and use these facilities whenever possible.
