Installation
Quick install
Section titled “Quick install”brew tap kannandreams/homebrew-tuffbrew install tuffRequires Homebrew.
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kannandreams/tuff/main/install.sh | shDownloads the latest release binary for your OS and architecture.
cargo install tuffcliBuilds from source. Requires Rust and Cargo.
pip install tuffcliuv tool install tuffcliInstalls a prebuilt wheel for supported macOS and Linux platforms. The
distribution is named tuffcli; the installed command remains tuff.
git clone https://github.com/kannandreams/tuffcd tuffcargo build -p tuffcli --release./target/release/tuff --versionClone and build locally.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”tuff --versiontuffTuff Console container image
Section titled “Tuff Console container image”Tuff Console, the self-hosted server for project reports, is also published as a container image for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64. It holds the same tuff binary as the release, so a server that only runs the console does not need the CLI installed:
docker pull ghcr.io/kannandreams/tuff-console:latestRun in a container covers the tags, creating a publish key, starting the console, trying it with sample data, and verifying the image signature.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Rust:
cargoand build methods use it directly.curlandbrewmethods install prebuilt binaries, available for macOS (Apple silicon and Intel) and Linux (x86-64 and ARM64). - Git: required for
tuff addwith git-backed capabilities.
