פָּסַדto cut, diminish; פָּסֵד (cmp. פגם, פסל) to lose in value, deteriorate. Y.Maasr.V, beg.51c שהן פְּסֵידִין because they spoil; חטין אינן פ׳ wheat does not spoil. Hif. הִפְסִיד 1) to suffer loss, to lose, be at a disadvantage. B.
