IBM has enhanced the GIMZIP program to digitally sign SMP/E packages. SMP/E now requires signature validation for all digitally signed GIMZIP packages.

Broadcom

supports package signing verification for PTF receive order packages, service order packages, and Portable Software Instance (PSWI) packages.
