Finally, we announced more talks for SymfonyCon Warsaw 2026.

This week, Symfony continued unveiling new Symfony 8.2 features, including new Messenger options and better performance, role hierarchy improvements, JSON Schema for configuration, and new Mailer features. In addition, Symfony UX 3.5 was released with a new Pagination package and many other improvements, and Twig 4.0 introduced runtime block composition. Finally, we published a new case study about Yuka and announced more talks for the upcoming SymfonyCon Warsaw 2026.

This week, Symfony 6.4.45, 7.4.18, and 8.1.6 were released with numerous bug fixes and hardening improvements. Meanwhile, we introduced symfony lsp:check, a new command that brings Symfony-aware diagnostics to your CI pipeline, catching unknown routes, missing templates, and configuration errors. Finally, we announced that you'll be able to meet the Symfony Core Team at the API Platform Conference 2026 in Lille on September 17–18.

This week, development activity for the upcoming Symfony 8.2 release was very intense: PropertyInfo made accessors and mutators configurable with attributes, HttpFoundation added targeted Cache-Control support conforming to RFC 9213, Console attributes can now use callables for descriptions and help text, Messenger added a concurrency option to process messages in parallel, and Mailer introduced support for rate-limited transports. In addition, we announced the Symfony AI Core Team.

This week, Symfony 7.4.16 and 8.1.4 maintenance versions were released, alongside Symfony UX 3.4.0 and Symfony Polyfill 1.41.0. In addition, we highlighted Twig 4.0's new macro system and first-class sandbox. Finally, we announced that SymfonyLive Germany 2027 will take place in Cologne.
