Kimberly-Clark is an American multinational consumer goods and personal care corporation. It produces mostly paper-based consumer products. The company manufactures sanitary paper products and surgical & medical instruments.


It was founded in 1872 by John A. Kimberly, Havilah Babcock, Charles B. Clark and Franklyn C. Shattuck in Neenah, Wisconsin, with $42,000 (equivalent to US$1,102,383 in 2024) of capital.
