My Mother

My name is Pragati. There are a total of six people living in my house including me, my elder brother, my parents and my grandparents. As we live in a joint family, our house feels full. My father's name is Pareshbhai and mother's name is Geetaben.

My mom's height is 5 feet and 2 inches. Her body colour is fair and her eyes are brown. They wear Punjabi dresses at home and saree when they go out. she is less fond of wearing ornaments, very few ornaments are seen on his body but there is 'Mangalsutra'. I love my mom's black and long hair. My mom is a housewife, but me and my brother call her 'queen of the house'. My mom's day starts at 5 in the morning and ends at 10 at night. She does all the housework, like cooking, taking out the garbage, washing clothes, doing the dishes, etc. It also prepares me for school. My mom is so calm but especially when she gets angry I feel very scared. Because I have tasted the 'prasad' of her hands many times. My mom also tutors both of us siblings at night. Because they have graduated with a Gujarati subject. My mom also teaches me housework. she also does the work of instilling the rites in both our brothers and sisters. If we both siblings want anything, we tell mom first and mom tells dad. Only a lucky person gets such a mother. I am proud to be her daughter. I love my mom very much.
