Kooboori does not ask for your name, your email, or an account. It does not show ads. It does not track you, and it never sells or shares your data with data brokers or advertisers. Your creations stay on your device. Two things leave it: anonymous usage statistics that help decide what to build next and are never tied to you as a person, and a handful of play totals mirrored to your own private iCloud account, which the developer cannot see.

  1. WHAT KOOBOORI STORES ON YOUR DEVICE

Everything you make is stored locally on your Apple Vision Pro:

  • Saved creations in your Gallery, including their 3D snapshot data and preview images.
  • Automatic recovery data for a build that was interrupted.
  • Your progress through guided Ideas, and a record of which Ideas you have finished.
  • Your settings: interaction mode, primary hand (left or right), language, font choice, display toggles, sound volume, and your cube palette.
  • Generated 3D model files (USDZ) used for previewing and sharing creations.
  • Which version of the Terms of Use you accepted, and when.

This information is never uploaded to the developer. Deleting the app removes
it from your device.

  1. WHAT SYNCS THROUGH YOUR OWN iCLOUD ACCOUNT

If you are signed in to iCloud, Kooboori mirrors a small set of lifetime play
totals to Apple's iCloud key-value storage so your progress survives a
reinstall or a second device. These totals are counters only, for example how
many cubes you have placed, how many creations you have saved, how many Ideas
you have finished, and which play milestones you have reached.

This data is stored in your private iCloud container, controlled by your Apple
Account. The developer cannot see it, read it, or retrieve it. If you are not
signed in to iCloud, this mirroring is skipped entirely and the game works
normally.

Saved creations are not synced through iCloud. They remain local to the device
that made them.

  1. USE OF TELEMETRYDECK TO ANALYZE APP USAGE

Kooboori uses the privacy-friendly analytics service TelemetryDeck (provider: TelemetryDeck GmbH, Von-der-Tann-Str. 54, 86159 Augsburg, Germany) to analyze usage data. The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as we require reliable and efficient tools for collecting app usage data in order to fulfill the contract with you, our customer.

What data is transferred?

The data processed by TelemetryDeck is completely anonymized and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about personal information.

The following data is collected, among other things:

  • an anonymized, untraceable user ID (per app installation),
  • actions defined by the app publisher (e.g., "app launched," "settings opened"),
  • a rounded timestamp (to the nearest hour),
  • device metadata (e.g., system version, app version, device type),
  • additional metadata defined by the app publisher (e.g., "number of items in the database").

What is not stored?

  • No IP addresses (not in logs, not in the database),
  • No cookies or tracking technologies,
  • no persistent identifiers that could be traced back to individuals.

  1. SHARING YOUR CREATIONS

When you choose to share a creation, Kooboori generates a 3D model file and
hands it to the standard Apple share sheet. The developer receives no copy of the file and no record of where it was sent.

  1. YOUR RIGHTS

Because no personal identifiers are collected, the developer normally cannot locate data belonging to a specific individual. You can still contact the address at the top of this policy with any question about your data, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You can remove all local and mirrored data at any time by deleting the app and, if you use iCloud, clearing Kooboori's iCloud data in your device settings.

  1. DATA RETENTION

Local data stays on your device until you delete a creation or delete the app.
iCloud-mirrored play totals stay in your iCloud account until you clear the
app's iCloud data. Aggregated analytics are retained by TelemetryDeck according
to its own retention schedule and contain no personal identifiers.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same
address with a new "Last updated" date.
