  • Stop making me even more jealous lol. The funny thing to me is I don’t even want an ounce anymore! I like concentrates way more and even if I didnt I still smoke flower way less to the point that it would last me way to long that I wouldnt even want it anymore and would rather get something fresh and new to try. At that price i would be giving out a bunch to friends or making crazy large joints just because.

So how much is an eighth? Like $10 bucks? I would prob just buy a few different ones of those and call it a day.

  • Yeah growing up it was always $20 1g, $50 3.5g, and $90 7g. I used to get awful weed for around $200 an ounce and it was like $300-$400 for good stuff. So with those prices it kind of set the original pricing for the state, but it has come down significantly and having the ability to choose stuff on sale is a gamechanger. We all agree here that it will continue to drop as it continues to become available and more stores open up which is incredible. I am slightly jealous of the places that get it even cheaper.

When our state legalized it the only way some agreed to let it pass was to agree to some rules. That meant no personal home growing at all sadly… if I didnt have kids I would take the risk, but its absolutely not worth it. I just want to try it once for fun. They have said from the beginning that it will be legal in the future, but recently it got taken off the table again. We believe they dont want to allow it so more people have no choice but to buy it so the state rakes in more income. Hopefully one day it changes. The funny thing is when it was passed they didnt realize there was a part in there to legalize mushrooms lol. Everyone was so angry about it and i think they had to immediatly pass a new bill correcting it which was done in a week or so. Just goes to show if they want something done they absolutely can do their jobs. Sorry for the extra info haha.

  • It varries state by state. West coast is actually really cheap, but east coast where I am is much higher. I also think the longer its been available helps pricing as well since we have been dropping little by little each year and I dont even think its that bad anymore. I basically just buy the sale items now. Normally our joints are single but 1g for anywhere from $8 to $30. Ounces are probably double what your prices are if you get a good sale or buy shake otherwise the standard is about $90 for a quarter (used to be $100) but can go as low as $50-$60 on sale. I generally buy concentrate and i can get them as low as $25-$30 for 1g which used to average $50 just a few years ago.

I don’t buy much, the 1g concentrate is small, cheap, very strong, and lasts me a month or more and im fine with that. Normally everyone i see who is buying stuff in store buys way more though.

  • For the non-obvious reasons that this works is because weed is kind of expensive so the majority of people going are probably dropping around $100 or more, so you know they have the extra money to throw down on some cookies. Adding on another $10 bucks on a want when buying leisure activity substances makes the decision pretty easy in that moment to trap them.

  • My friend without kids asks me all the time so did you play that game today? And every time I explain to him I don’t think you ever get it, but I have kids and a lot of things on my plate so no I did not get to play that game yet lol. He has lived his entire life gf free and only goes to work. Everything else is his time. He just says ohh yeah I forget. I absolutely wish I could turn back time and blow a tire on my way to my first date that lead to this so I could have done so much more or at least the many things I want to do and never will. I fell for it, i hope others make better decisions.

  • Wow this case was way worse than just needing DNA… witnesses were paid in cash and gifts and threatened to deport their children if they didn’t cooperate. So there was no evidence and he was only found guilty because 2 people were paid by police to lie about what they saw.

Then you got the daughter who I guess I can sort of get being skeptical, but her comments towards him after all this are awful.

Theresa Olesen, a daughter in law of Eva Olesen, said during Monday’s bond hearing that her family had “serious concerns” about Carter’s release. She said he should remain in the Utah County jail, where he was being held pending a new trial.

“By golly we were hoping for a concrete match,” Olesen said of the DNA analysis. “It doesn’t mean he wasn’t there.”

And on top of it all the main suspect appears to now be the husband, of course, who already died in 2009. Im guessing thats something the duaghter will never believe.

  • Feels that way, till you get older and if your like me you realize maybe it’s not because when i talk with friends about stuff 20-30 years ago I am sad that I either don’t remember some stuff, or don’t remember the event at all and it kills me. Without memories what did it matter? Don’t get me wrong I still remember a lot, but its definitely creeping in now that I probably will only get worse going forward.

  • Sadly I see this happening one day, but of course it will actually be made to work just fine by being autogenerated with the birth and details provided to you the following day through the parents email. Can’t wait till a company believes this is absolutely needed and convinces politicians to be on board because hes rich and told them it will protect the children somehow.
