Beat the Kindle price hike: The viral XTEINK X4 e-reader is over $10 off at Amazon
TL;DR: As of Sept. 24, the XTEINK X4 Classic Pocket eReader is marked down to $78.99 at Amazon. That's $10.01 off the list price of $89.
You may have been one of the Kindle fans who were alarmed by news that Amazon would be hiking prices across its devices — more fallout from the ongoing AI-enforced RAMageddon crisis, which is driving up tech prices.
The bad news for Kindle readers is that upgrading your Kindle is going to come at a literal cost — and more than you normally expect to pay for a Kindle. Fortunately, the XTEINK X4 Classic Pocket eReader, which is one of the trendiest Kindle alternatives, is currently marked down as part of the early October Prime Day deals.
As of Sept. 24, the XTEINK X4 Classic Pocket eReader is down to $78.99. It's usually priced at $89, so that's a $10.01 saving.
The big selling point of this e-reader is just how practical and compact it is. It attaches magnetically to the back of your smartphone, so your e-books are right there on the phone and in your pocket. You can also turn pages with either physical buttons or by just shaking the device. The main catch with this one is that it requires DRM-free EPUB files, so you won't get the full range available to Kindle.
Pick up the XTEINK X4 Classic Pocket eReader today for just $78.99.
