Ascended Heroes is the most expensive expansion in the Pokémon TCG’s Mega Evolution set, but the occasional price drop on collection boxes means you can lessen the impact on your trading card budget.
As of May 28, Amazon sellers have dropped the price of the Pokémon TCG Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection (Mega Lucario edition) to as low as $178.99.
This Premium Poster Collection contains one full-art foil promo card featuring Mega Lucario ex, one double-sided poster, 10 titular Pokémon TCG Ascended Heroes booster packs, and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live.
Since single Ascended Heroes Booster Packs cost $19.99 on Amazon, you’re saving up to $2.09 per pack and $20.09 on all 10 compared to buying the packs separately.
On the other hand, you can save even more when buying from Walmart or TCGplayer. Walmart has a listing for the same Mega Lucario box for $169.99 with free shipping — whilst TCGplayer has a sealed listing at $155.50 plus shipping.
To save even more on boxes, the eight-pack Pokémon TCG Mega Zygarde ex Premium Collection is over $15 off at Amazon. What’s more, find out when and how you can buy Target’s Pokémon 30th Anniversary Collection.
The Pokémon TCG’s newly-announced Pitch Black expansion is now available to pre-order at TCGplayer.
