MaaSec is a non-profit association that protects small businesses, non-profits and community organisations in the Maastricht and Heuvelland region that can’t afford professional cybersecurity services.
Our volunteer members provide free security assessments, advice and awareness training. We also run public talks, workshops and capture-the-flag events for anyone who wants to understand how attacks work and how to stop them.
All of our income is reinvested in these activities. None of it is distributed to members.

Our volunteers review the security of small businesses, non-profits and community organisations in the region, free of charge. You get practical advice you can act on, and experienced members check every review before it reaches you.
Public talks and hands-on workshops, plus awareness training for the people behind local organisations: spotting phishing, securing accounts, and knowing what to do when something goes wrong.
We compete internationally as MaaSec and rank among the Netherlands' best teams. Our CTF events welcome complete beginners and experienced players alike.

Yes. Our assessments, advice and awareness training cost you nothing. Our members volunteer their time, and all of our income is reinvested in our activities. None of it is distributed to members.
We look at how your organisation works day to day, from accounts and devices to your website and the way you handle data, and point out the weak spots. You get practical advice, ordered by what matters most. Experienced members check every review before it reaches you.
