1M JSON changes (ADABAS CDC) into a 1-billion-row Vertica table, three ways: insert-only upsert with a Top-K Live Aggregate Projection, staging + partition swap, and optimized MERGE. Then 10M changes into 10 tables from mixed and nested JSON, parsed once and merged in parallel. Plain bash + vsql; every step timed and checked.
