Description

Add opt-in, observer-only instrumentation for Groovy spec parallelization. Capture Fabric8 Kubernetes HTTP method/path pairs, Central gRPC service/method names, and process-global Central auth reconfiguration without recording payloads or credentials. The offline analyzer compares spec footprints and labels shared-write candidates as overlapping, sequential, or unknown. No test selection or scheduling behavior changes.

This favors runtime observations over source-level “safe” annotations for the initial audit; direct REST and external-system behavior remain explicit blind spots.

User-facing documentation

Testing and quality

  • the change is production ready: the change is GA, or otherwise the functionality is gated by a feature flag
  • CI results are inspected

Automated testing

  • added unit tests
  • added e2e tests
  • added regression tests
  • added compatibility tests
  • modified existing tests

How I validated my change

Python analyzer tests: 5 passed. CodeNarc main passed; the new Groovy audit utility and Fabric8 interceptor API were compiled in isolation, and the modified Groovy sources parsed successfully. Full QA make compile could not run because local Go is 1.19.6 and rejects the repository's go 1.26.7 directive during proto generation. No GKE cluster run was triggered; the existing GKE QA lane is wired to emit audit records when it runs.

Observe Kubernetes and Central API footprints while specs run, and report shared-resource candidates without changing test scheduling.

Request: "lets do the followup pr now that investigates the observer only paralleization audit"
