Create a Rails project

rails new <your-app-name>
cd <you-app-name>

Configure Gemfile

Add spree, sprangular and rails-assets source in your Gemfile. (notice we dont use the spree umbrella gem, because it contains the generic spree_frontend)

spree_branch = '2-4-stable'

gem 'spree_core',        github: 'spree/spree',             branch: spree_branch
gem 'spree_api',         github: 'spree/spree',             branch: spree_branch
gem 'spree_backend',     github: 'spree/spree',             branch: spree_branch
gem 'spree_sample',      github: 'spree/spree',             branch: spree_branch
gem 'spree_gateway',     github: 'spree/spree_gateway',     branch: spree_branch
gem 'spree_auth_devise', github: 'spree/spree_auth_devise', branch: spree_branch
gem 'sprangular',        github: 'sprangular/sprangular'

Update your bundle

Run bundler

bundle

Install Spree

rails generate spree:install

Install Sprangular

rails generate sprangular:install [AngularModuleName]

You can pass the --copy-templates flag if you'd like all of Sprangular's templates copied to the host app's app/assets/templates dir.

Admin

The admin is mounted at http://localhost:3000/spree/admin
