Kick Auto-Zap

A tiny Tampermonkey userscript that keeps you on the most‑watched live channel among the people you follow on Kick, and automatically hops to the next live one when a stream ends. It also shows the level / XP you gained during the current session right in a small panel.

This is not a viewbot. It runs in your logged‑in browser and you actually watch — exactly one real viewer (you). It does not spoof viewers, use proxies, or run headless. It just automates the “this stream ended, take me to another live one I follow” clicking, and surfaces your Kick Level Badge progress.

Features

  • Aggressive mode (default) — always keeps you on the biggest live channel you follow. Anti‑flap built in: it only leaves your current live stream if a rival has >15% more viewers and you’ve been watching for at least 90 s; if the current stream ends it jumps to the biggest live one immediately.
  • On‑offline modes — alternatively, only switch when the current stream ends (to the biggest live, or in your list order).
  • Session level tracking — reads your Kick level and XP, records a baseline when you enable the bot, and shows +X% · +N XP · M min earned this session, with a progress bar toward the next level.
  • Auto follow list — visit kick.com/following/channels once and your follows are captured automatically. You can also paste a manual list.
  • Small floating panel — current channel + live viewer count, status, level, a Skip now button, and settings. Toggle it on/off anytime.

How it works

All reverse‑engineered from Kick’s own web app (may change without notice):

Need Source
Is a channel live? GET /api/v2/channels/{slug} → livestream != null (same‑origin, no auth)
Your follow list scraped from the DOM of kick.com/following/channels (/api/v2/channels/followed returns 401 without a Bearer token)
Your level / XP GET https://web.kick.com/api/v1/gamification/user/level with Authorization: Bearer <session_token cookie> → { level, progress_xp, xp_to_next_level, total_xp }

Switching channels does a full page reload, so all state (config, follow list, session baseline) lives in localStorage under kaz:* keys and the script simply resumes on the next page.

Install

  1. Install Tampermonkey (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera…).
  2. Chrome/Edge only: userscripts now need an extra permission. Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions), turn on Developer mode, then open Tampermonkey → Details → enable Allow user scripts (only present on very recent Chrome builds; if you don’t see it, Developer mode is enough).
  3. Tampermonkey → Create a new script, delete the template, paste the contents of kick-auto-zap.user.js, and save (Ctrl+S).
  4. Go to kick.com and log in. The panel appears at the bottom‑right.
  5. First time: open the panel’s ⚙ → Fetch my follows (takes you to your follows page, where the list is saved), then pick a channel and start watching.

Settings

  • Mode — Aggressive / On‑offline (biggest) / On‑offline (list order)
  • Check interval — how often to poll (default 15 s)
  • Channel list — leave empty to use your follows, or paste specific slugs

Notes & disclaimer

  • Your level/XP grows from watch time regardless of which channel you’re on — aggressive hopping does not earn XP faster, it just keeps you on the most popular stream. For pure leveling, an “on‑offline” mode earns the same XP with fewer reloads.
  • Keep the tab active/playing; Kick only credits watch time while you’re actually watching.
