Track and play multiple bingo cards simultaneously.
Originally written for a small event where I needed to play several bingo cards at once and could not keep up by hand. The first version hardcoded one specific session; I am generalizing it into a reusable tool. Work in progress.
What works today:
- CLI loop: enter a number and every card in the set is updated at once.
- Six sample 5x5 cards bundled in the source as a starting dataset.
- Centre cell handled as a free space (wildcard).
resetclears all marks;exitends the session.- Marked numbers are highlighted with ANSI colours.
Not implemented yet:
- Automatic win detection (line / column / diagonal / full card).
- A "closest to winning" indicator across cards.
- Loading cards from a file instead of hardcoding them.
- A random card generator.
- Add win detection and a "closest to winning" ranking across cards.
- Card generator producing valid random cards (standard 1-75 ranges per column).
- Load and save card sets from JSON / YAML.
- Optional web or richer CLI (TUI) interface.
