An Arduino/Teensyduino-compatible core and bring-up suite for the NXP i.MX RT1176 crossover MCU, targeting the MIMXRT1170-EVKB evaluation board (Cortex-M7 @ 996 MHz + Cortex-M4 @ 400 MHz, 2 MB on-chip SRAM, 64 MB SDRAM, 16 MB QSPI flash, WM8962 audio codec, 10/100 Ethernet, dual USB).

• Dual-Core Architecture: The CM7 boots and manages the CM4 using the Multicore API, communicates over MessagingUnit (MU) mailboxes/doorbells, and supports hot-swapping resident CM4 firmware images via Cm4ImageBank.
• Teensy 4 API Surface: Register-by-register port supporting familiar Arduino/Teensy APIs (setup/loop, digitalWrite, analogRead/analogWrite, IntervalTimer, DMAChannel, AudioStream, SerialUSB, Wire, SPI, USB host/device).
• Audio Pipeline: Dual-core audio graph support (DMA-driven I2S on CM7, interrupt-driven AudioStream on CM4 with CMSIS-DSP).
• Double Verification (QEMU + Silicon): Every feature is verified with automated gates in a custom dual-core qemu-rt1170 model and validated on real EVKB hardware.
• Modern CMake Build: Standalone CMake configuration (evkb.cmake) with local-first library discovery, pinned GitHub fallbacks, embedded CM4 images, and LVGL 9.4 integration.
• Clean-Room & Permissive Licensing: 100% MIT/BSD/public domain codebase validated by automated dependency license auditing tools.
