v0.1.3

Choose a tag to compare

@mirbyte mirbyte released this 11 Sep 15:14

Section-based loudness prep for DJ libraries: analyze, review, render _DG copies. Still WIP — use a library copy first.

Install

  1. Download DropGain-win64.zip and unzip anywhere.
  2. Run DropGain.exe.
  3. Pick a folder → Analyze → Render.

FFmpeg is bundled (bin/). No Python install needed.

Limiter-assisted mode (recommended)

Analysis and clean-gain render work out of the box. For peak limiting, add LoudMax (free): loudmax.blogspot.com → put LoudMax.vst3 in the plugins folder. Or use FabFilter Pro-L 2 if you already own it.

Preferences → Check Limiter / System to verify setup.

Notes

  • Windows 64-bit only (author-tested)
  • Originals are not modified; outputs use the _DG suffix
  • Disable DJ software auto-gain when loading _DG files (README)
