Optimize VNC and ZRLE decoding loops by replacing expensive coordinate arithmetic (division, modulo, and repeated multiplications) with incremental row-base tracking and column counters. This "strength reduction" optimization is particularly effective on mobile ARM architectures where integer division can be 20-80x slower than addition. - ZrleDecoder: Updated decodeTile to use tileRowBase; eliminated / tw and % tw in RLE handlers using currCol/currRowBase increments. - VncClient: Optimized ENC_RAW and ENC_COPY_RECT loops to use incremental rowBase tracking. 👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! 💡 What: Optimized RFB decoding loops in
VncClient.ktandZrleDecoder.ktusing strength reduction.🎯 Why: Repeated multiplications, divisions, and modulo operations in tight pixel loops are expensive on ARM-based mobile devices.
📊 Impact: Expected to reduce CPU overhead during VNC screen updates and improve frame rates for high-resolution or high-entropy updates.
🔬 Measurement: Verified with
./gradlew :app:testDebugUnitTest --tests "com.excp.podroid.x11.*Test".PR created automatically by Jules for task 13546075656163325268 started by @kimocoder
