All the PRs that @kares pointed out have been merged and released in pre2, along with: A separate ping for @mkristian here... we are about to move forward with this. Once jar-dependencies 0.6.0 is released we'll also update JRuby 10.1 dev builds and see if it impacts anyone. 🤞 |

This new version uses "mima" a stripped-down library for Maven dependency resolution. This eliminates the need for a post-install hook to install ruby-maven (problematic for many reasons) and means that JRuby includes everything needed for jar-deps in the box. Fixes jruby#9301
jar-dependencies 0.6.0 includes mima in the box to avoid the many issues involved when installing ruby-maven in a post-install hook. This means a larger JRuby + stdlib. We will continue to look at ways to reduce this in the future.

We have a working version of jar-dependencies now using the mima stripped-down Maven dependency resolver. This PR will switch us to jar-dependencies 0.6.0 to eliminate issues with post-install hooks trying to install ruby-maven and hitting concurrency challenges.
This is based on finalization changes in jruby/jar-dependencies#107.
