Hypercolor HASS 0.5.0 moves the integration to Home Assistant 2026.9.4 and clears the deprecation warnings 2026.9 logs against it.
Home Assistant 2026.9
- The integration now requires Home Assistant 2026.9.4 or newer. Installs on older releases stay on v0.4.0.
- Hypercolor devices link to the Hypercolor hub the way Home Assistant 2026.9 expects, so setup no longer logs a deprecation warning. Existing device links carry over unchanged.
- Reauthenticating or changing options reloads the integration once instead of twice, without the pattern Home Assistant stops supporting in 2026.12.
- Removing a Hypercolor device from its device page no longer logs a deprecation warning.
Update through HACS and restart Home Assistant to load the new integration.
Validation
All 138 tests passed against Home Assistant 2026.9.4, both with the tagged SDK source and with the published 0.6.0 wheel. New tests drive the hub link, reauth, an options change, and device removal through a live setup and confirm Home Assistant logs no deprecation report. Release checks passed for lint, types, build, integration metadata, hassfest, and HACS. The optional live-daemon test was not run.
