Mirror the devices your Home Assistant already knows — Tuya, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter and 3,000+ integrations — into Dashly as first-class devices: widgets, charts, thresholds, automations and timers all work on them.
Everything is outbound from your Home Assistant. No port forwarding, no Nabu Casa requirement, no HA credentials stored in the cloud: the integration pushes state to Dashly and long-polls for the commands you trigger from your dashboards.
- HACS → Integrations → ⋮ → Custom repositories
- Add this repository, category Integration
- Install Dashly, restart Home Assistant
Copy custom_components/dashly/ into your HA config/custom_components/
directory and restart.
- In Dashly: Settings → Integrations → Home Assistant → Connect and copy
the token (
dsh_ha_…— it is shown once). - In Home Assistant: Settings → Devices & services → Add integration → Dashly, paste the token (and your server URL if self-hosting).
- Back in Dashly, the connection flips to online — pick the devices to import.
- Only entities of supported domains ever leave your network, and only the
attribute keys Dashly maps (see
const.pyATTR_WHITELIST). - Locks import read-only unless you opt in during import.
- Removing the connection in Dashly revokes the token; the integration will log an authentication error until you remove or reconfigure it.
Repo status: this directory is developed inside the main Dashly repo and published to a standalone repository for HACS (which requires one). Do not edit the standalone copy directly.
