Terraform Provider Schema Guard v0.1.0

First versioned source release of Edilec's MIT-licensed, offline compatibility check for exported, normalized Terraform/OpenTofu provider schemas and configuration inventories.

The CLI separates compatible evaluated evidence (exit 0), evaluated harmful changes (exit 1), and unsupported or incomplete evidence (exit 2). The repository includes synthetic passing and failing inputs and a fresh-checkout run path in the README.

It does not invoke Terraform/OpenTofu, load a provider, inspect live state, run a plan, or prove that a cloud change is safe. An upstream exporter must provide complete normalized evidence; unsupported structures remain incomplete. Node.js 22 or later is required. This release was checked with npm run check (13 tests) and the checked-in passing and failing CLI examples. It is a GitHub source release, not an npm registry publication.

For broader review practice around modules, state, plans, and change control, see Edilec's infrastructure-as-code standards guide.

Edilec maintains this project. Release-note drafting and the README update were AI-assisted and reviewed against the public source and synthetic test results.
