✨ Bienvenidos!

My name is Gloria "Chumi" Gonzalez and I’m a UI Developer turned Product Manager. I was raised in Paraguay and am currently based in NYC. My work experiences cover a wide array of skills including marketing, graphic/UX design, frontend development, and product management.

I’m passionate about bringing ideas to life, bridging the gap between design and engineering in tech, women/immigrant rights, & creating positive experiences for people.

📚 Skills

Tech: Javascript/HTML/CSS, React, React Native, AEM, Terraform (this is new for me).

Design: Figma, Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign

Languages: Fluent in Spanish & English, Conversational in Guarani & Portuguese.

🦾 Current Endeavors

These days I am a Technical Product Manager at Mastercard in the Operations Automation team, where I'm learning all things infrastructure-as-code (safe provisioning -> configuration for platform + application teams).

The Brave App: a communication and resource platform for a non-profit that supports young immigrant women in NYC.
Glow In The Blue: a mindfulness & productivity tracker.
Nebula Bakery: an e-commerce website for baked goods.
Barclays: The international investment bank, not the events center in Brooklyn. I was UI Developer of 2 years on the Frictionless Apply team, and a Product Analyst for 2 years on the AEM team.
