Annotation Processor Support for Java 1.7 on Android #778
I also encounter the same problem? Did you already find a solution to this? Thank you, David. (Nothing serious though, but I like to keep my compile warnings at a minimum ;-))

As it's "just“ a warning, it's not in my high priority task list. However feel free to contribute if you have some time :)

Overriding the getSupportedSourceVersion() inside AndroidAnnotationProcessor will fix the problem.
In the following blog, the author mentions most annotation processors should "generally support the latest source version".

FYI, I've been using the lib with java 7 for a while, but so far not having any issue.
I can issue a PR if you like.
