Go Backend Developer focused on distributed systems, databases, and storage.
I have production experience from two backend internships at Yandex Cloud — Managed Databases for MySQL and Postbox. I'm also a 4th-year Software Engineering student at RTU MIREA.
Worked on mysync, a MySQL high-availability manager.
- Fixed a failure scenario where a manager that lost quorum could keep the lock and block failover.
- Added peer availability checks and automatic lock release on quorum loss.
- Reproduced inter-datacenter network partitions on a 5-node cluster across 3 datacenters; the change was shipped to production.
Worked on Postbox, Yandex Cloud's transactional email service.
- Implemented cursor-based pagination for Identity and Configuration Set across the service stack, from HTTP handlers to SQL queries.
- Added optimistic concurrency control with ETags to prevent lost updates during concurrent Configuration Set changes.
- Decoupled Identity and DNS verification through asynchronous events and fixed verification starting before DNS records had propagated.
Team project building an S3-compatible object storage system with relationship-based access control.
My main areas are Auth, Users, Storage, and Metadata:
- object versioning and streaming multipart uploads;
- asynchronous Storage ↔ Metadata workflows through Kafka with blob upload state tracking;
- JWT authentication, Redis-based brute-force protection, and PostgreSQL persistence;
- end-to-end tests, distributed tracing, and metrics.
